Stage 2 Machine Polishing

What it is:
Stage 2 machine polishing is a two-stage paint correction process designed to significantly improve paint clarity, gloss, and depth. It removes moderate to heavy swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation, restoring a near-perfect finish.

This service is ideal for vehicles with noticeable defects or dull paint that needs more than a light enhancement.

🔧 Purpose
• Corrects moderate to heavy paint defects.
• Restores depth, gloss, and clarity.
• Ideal for vehicles with visible swirl marks, scratches, or faded paint.

⚙️ Process Overview
1. Wash & Decontamination
• Full pre-wash, snow foam, and two-bucket hand wash.
• Chemical and mechanical decontamination (tar remover, iron fallout remover, and clay bar).
2. Paint Inspection
• Paint depth readings taken across panels.
• Defects and paint type assessed under proper lighting.
3. Machine Polishing – Two Stages
Stage 1: Cutting Stage
• Uses a heavier compound and pad to remove up to 70–90% of defects.
• Eliminates deeper swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation.
Stage 2: Refining Stage
• Uses a finer polish and pad to refine the finish, increasing clarity and gloss.
• Removes haze or micro-marring from the cutting stage.
4. Wipe Down & Inspection
• IPA/panel wipe to remove polish residues.
• Paint inspected under various lighting to ensure a flawless finish.
5. Protection
• Application of wax, sealant, or ceramic coating for lasting protection and shine.

💡 Key Benefits
• Removes most visible paint defects (70–90%).
• Restores deep gloss, clarity, and mirror-like reflection.
• Prepares surface perfectly for ceramic coating.
• Ideal for used cars or enthusiasts seeking a near-showroom finish.

⚠️ Limitations
